Team Reference Document

Your printed Team Reference Document (TRD) is the only technical resource you may bring with you to the contest. There are several conditions that must be met, and several rules regarding its use.  The EUC rules concerning the content and format of the TRD are similar to those of the World Finals (https://icpc.global/worldfinals/on-site-registration) and are summarized below for your convenience.

  1. This document may contain up to 25 pages of reference materials, single-sided, letter or A4 size, with pages numbered in the upper right-hand corner and your university name and team name printed in the upper left-hand corner.
  2. Text and illustrations must be readable by a person with correctable eyesight without magnification from a distance of 1/2 meter.
  3. You must PRINT YOUR OWN COPIES of the document.  We will not print them for you.  Note that you will not be able to access your TRD electronically during the Dress Rehearsal or the Contest.
  4. You must BRING YOUR OWN PRINTED COPIES (1 per contestant) of the TRD.
  5. The document must be in some type of notebook or folder with the name of your institution on the front.
  6. You will bring the TRDs to the contest area right before the Dress Rehearsal. You must leave them at your workstation in the intended folders after the Dress Rehearsal in order to use them at the Contest.
  7. You may take the TRD with you after the Contest is over.

Note: You may want to have another way of accessing your Team Reference Document at the EUC in case your printed copy is damaged or lost.  For example, give your coach a copy on a flash drive to hold for you.

Each contestant may also bring a dictionary for translation purposes. Dictionaries must not be marked other than to identify the owner.
