ICPC EUC 2025 HOSTS

The EUC 2025 is hosted by the University of Porto and it takes place at FEP – The School of Economics and Management of the University of Porto. It has the support of FCUP – the School of Sciences of the University of Porto and its Computer Science Department (DCC).

University of Porto

Founded in 1911, the University of Porto is one of the largest higher education and research institutions in Portugal. It has 14 Faculties, 1 Business School and 49 Research Centres located in 3 campuses.

FEP

The School of Economics and Management of the University of Porto (FEP) – is responsible for education and research in the areas of Economics and Management. FEP’s mission is to train current and future generations of economists and managers, developing, transmitting and adding social value to knowledge in economics and management, thus contributing towards the construction of a stronger economy and a better society.

FCUP

The School of Sciences of the University of Porto – is one of the oldest and largest organic units of the University of Porto, recognised for its excellence in teaching and research in Exact and Natural Sciences. FCUP aims to generate and disseminate knowledge in Science and Technology through the more than 70 degree programmes it teaches, seeking to respond to the major challenges facing global society.

DCC-FCUP

Rooted in its foundational efforts since 1985 and officially established in 1996, the Department of Computer Science has been a leader in education, research, and innovation within the field of computing and its interdisciplinary applications. Our mission is to advance knowledge, foster innovation, and prepare future leaders who will shape the rapidly evolving technological landscape.

The department offers a comprehensive and dynamic range of Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees and a PhD program. With over 1300 students enrolled.
