Team Reference Document

Your printed Team Reference Document (TRD) is the only technical resource you may bring to the contest. The following conditions must be met, and the rules below apply to its use:

  1. The document may contain up to 25 single-sided pages of reference material, in either Letter or A4 size. Pages must be numbered in the upper right-hand corner, and your university name and team name must appear in the upper left-hand corner.
  2. All text and illustrations must be readable by a person with correctable vision, without magnification, from a distance of 0.5 meters.
  3. You must print your own copies of the document. We will not print them for you. Note that you will not have electronic access to your TRD during the Dress Rehearsal or the Contest.
  4. You must bring your own printed copies of the TRD (one per contestant).
  5. The document must be placed in a notebook or folder labeled with the name of your institution on the front.
  6. You must bring the TRDs to the contest area immediately before the Dress Rehearsal. After the Dress Rehearsal, you must leave them at your workstation in the designated folders in order to use them during the Contest.
  7. You may take your TRD with you after the Contest ends.

Each contestant may also bring a dictionary for translation purposes. Dictionaries must not contain any markings other than those identifying the owner.
